A bit of indulgence, non-old people...

All the Richard Marx talk on SCL yesterday coupled with writing my latest post has left me a bit nostalgic. I'll admit it. I was a Richard Marx fan. Regardless of your opinion of his musical chops, you must admit, the guy had some pretty amazing 80's hair. For those of you old enough to remember when you should have known better, please enjoy the following video, remembering a day when you actually thought sporting the Pebbles Flintstone hair fountain was sexy and morphing a glass of alka-seltzer into a car doing 360's on the beach was considered groundbreaking visual effects.

That guy had some seriously good hair...

He's probably bald now, and hopefully she is all jiggly with cellulite.

I love me a good mullet.

Ooo! Fluffy hair! The 80's did not have boring hair. I keep trying to get my husband to let me give him Flock of Seagulls hair, but he won't let me. Can you believe that?

Hey, I'm still pretty hot when I where the Pebbles Flintstone hairdo. Okay, not. I wear it sometimes when I am gardening to keep the hair out of my face. Not exactly sexy.

One of the first songs I ever learned on the piano was "Right Here Waiting For You." I like to play it for Frank and make him roll his eyes....but he knows the words better than I do.
Hmmmmmm.

"Richard Marx Fan"...

What?

Methinks that someone cast a +3 spell of wackness on you, causing 30% damage to your aura of cool. You need to rebuff and listen to some Van Halen, man.

I know, I know. It was a brief period of uncool. It's no excuse really, but I think it was hair envy.

For the Van Halen prescription - would that be DLR Van Halen or SH Van Halen?
