For some reason my husband and I get a kick out of this commercial. Might be the kid that looks 26 years old (even though I found him on IMDB and he's much younger...poor guy.) Might be his wig like hair. No...I think it's just the cheese! I hope none of you have any connections with ad writers at Olive Garden...but they are so cheesy that it puts their pasta to shame.

It doesn't tickle my funny bone, but there are commercials that do. I thought the kid was meant to be a grown kid. Oh well...
It is pretty cheesetastic. And it really does look like a bad wig on the kid. Poor kid.
Yep, it's mega-cheesey. But I was wishing I had tried that interrogation method when you were a teen. ...
Ouch. I winced. And yeah, the poor kid looked pretty perturbed. It was probably something to do with being in that mega-cheesy commercial. He probably was thinking he wouldn't have a girlfriend for a long time after that...
Like this kid doesn't have anything better to do than hang out with mom!
My wife and I generally dislike Olive Garden, first because everything is basically a plate of carbs with a side of fat, and then we found out none of the food is made on site - all prepackaged.
By the way, for those who have not been introduced, Rachael is my Mom. :)
And I don't think bribing me with Olive Garden would have pumped any more info out of me...even though I like their food...until now. Thanks, Matt... ;)
Beth, I kind of figured youo weren't being stalked by random Rachels..
Rachel Phillips, Hello Mrs. Phillips.
should a mom giggle and pull a playful arm slap with her ambiguously aged son? I feel like the commercial is trying to say "Olive Garden: Give incest a chance." Ewww
On a side note I also feel like this commercial was done for SNL. The main difference is if SNL did it they would have gone ahead and said it.
I don't even think that merits "cheesy" - more like Velveeta. She looks about 4 years older than her kid.
