Zach Morris on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

I know y'all were Saved by the Bell fans back in the days when TV was actually worth watching.

It's OK, we're all friends here, you can admit it.

Really, there's no shame in it. My wife and I still sing the theme song occasionally. Well, we sung it that one time... I think... or maybe that was a dream... who's to know?

Anyway, the star of the show, none other than the great Zach Morris, was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon recently.

It's a great interview, you should watch it here

Awesome! I loved how he stayed in character for the interview. Thanks for posting this, Peter!

They've had Principal Belding on a few times as well. One of Jimmy's goals is to have a Saved by the Bell reunion on the show.

PS I like Late night with Jimmy Fallow more than Conan Obrian.

Nick, yeah, I gathered the reunion was a goal from the video.
You don't even like Conan Obrien well enough to spell his name correctly. Wow. That's cold....

I'm about the biggest Saved By the Bell dork there is. Go ahead. Quiz me. I practically have the episodes memorized...

I've even met Dustin Diamond.

And this is the THIRD source in the last 24 hours that has pointed me to this video. (Which ruled, by the way.)

I have a very hard time staying up late enough for Late Night. And Craig Ferguson cracks me up, so we usually turn the channel his way...but if Jimmy has a reunion, I'm there with Saved By the Bells on!!

Beth, I am a Ferguson fan, too. He was on in the ICU waiting room when my mom was there for a severe infection, and I knew when he made me gasp a short little laugh through all my tears and worry that he is a funny man. If I am up late, I watch him, too.
Still, a Saved by the Bell reunion really could motivate me to switch allegiences...

Hello. My name is Marni and I used to watch Saved By The Bell. (I didn't watch the "college years" series, so I probably can't be considered a real fan...)

I gotta say, I almost stroked out when I saw the Zack hair-do when he walked out. I was briefly depressed at the thought he cut his hair off...

PS--I think "Friends Forever" should be adopted as our official FOTTSP theme song...

Ooo...ooo...pick me to play Jessi Spano!!!

Does anybody remember another show that was like a Saved By The Bell knockoff in the late '90s?

Check it out:

P.S. CONAN RULES!

Um, no Stacey, I have no idea what you are talking about. :)

I wonder if Leah Remini will revive her role as Stacey Carosi in the reunion show.

Stacey said...

Oh, Huck, I wasn't even gonna tell anybody that I used to catch you watching that on Saturday mornings!

Stacey, let us not forget:
1. California Dreams
2. City Guys

The funniest part about Hang Time was that it was supposed to be in Indiana. Suuuure. And they played in a tournament at Indiana State which was located in...Indianapolis!! Oh, no, California producers. Indiana State is located in Terre Haute. Geesh!

Stacey said...

LOL, thanks Beth! That was fun. I HAD forgotten.
Man, is that City Guys intro the longest and most repetitive in the history of the world?

Okay, so I'm in the car on the way back from the lake, and I noticed that I had several dork alerts on my blackberry. Mystery solved. Carry on.
