Community is Hilarious

No one should listen to @PeterPollock about Community because... it is funny. For instance (First video is kind of long... but... HILARIOUS):

Unfortunately, no one is paying me to advertise this show. I'll keep yo updated on that though, but this show is seriously funny, and has a semi-message in it.

So, enjoy the fun!

There is nothing NOT funny about that show!

Brits just don't understand American humor...

I thought the fall previews seemed amusing. But I missed the show, and it is not ON DEMAND. :-(

Agreed. Just like lots of Americans don't understand British humor (or is it humour?).

I was raised on both, and it's a wonderful place to be!

I think American and British humor is hilarious because I am awesome and multicultural like that.

I also think Community is pretty funny. I love the Soup and Joel McHale so I have to give it a shot. So far, so good! There have been a couple times in each episode where I laughed out loud.

I give that speech to the preschoolers I teach Spanish to each year. I don't see what's so funny...
MY KNOWLEDGE WILL BITE YOUR FACE OFF!
Four year olds love that.

Wow. That was FUN-HEE. I had low expectations for that show and didn't watch...much better than CRYFEST pretty much on every show I flipped to last night!

Helen, watch it on Hulu.

I love this show. It is my favorite new show, and I want to make my fiance (who is finishing up at community college) watch it and smile snarkily.

Hey.. I get American humour - I love Good Morning Vietnam!

I just think Community is not all that good. It has some roll-on-the-floor-laughing moments but generally it's just not all that good.

Chevy Chase needs to be axed. His acting in it is appalling.

...and the lead character needs to stop trying to get with whats-her-name for sex. I could really root for him to get over his dumbness and manage to get-the-girl if it wasn't for the fact that all he really wants is sex. I don't agree with people doing that in real life so why would I find it acceptable or even amusing in fiction?

OK.. I'm off my high horse now. The air was getting a bit thin up there.

Carry on...

Peter, how come you didn't say "oh bother?" It's my new favorite saying. (What does it mean actually?) I'm working on my accent.

We once saw Chevy Chase in an elevator in New York and he was SO rude I haven't liked him since. I don't understand it. RB only wanted to talk about Christmas lights with him. The nerve. We are nice Iowa people. (He was not sober, either).

I just can't get into TV these days. Ugh.

I loved Peter's tweet when he said "Oh bother!". It made me want to read Winnie the Pooh. I heart Peter's cooler-than-anything accent. So as I read his rant about Community, I was totally convicted to not watch it.

With great accent power, comes great accent responsibility.

Please don't rant about Desperate Housewives though Peter. You'll ruin it for me if I "hear" your cool accent telling me how wrong all the slaggy ho stuff they do is. ;-)

I think Marni has kissed up enough, er, I mean repented enough to be let out of time out. What do you all think?

Peter - You must not get American humor if you think Chevy Chase is supposed to be a good actor. Ever. The fact that he's soooo terrible is why he's soooo funny!

We monopolize on terribleness of others in America! That's why America's Funniest Home Videos has lasted so long (and with terrible actors as hosts!). That's just how it goes.

Say what you want about the man, he sure knew how to decorate a house for Christmas...

This show is by far the funniest show I've seen in a while - and Modern Family is meh, compared to this.
