Things got a little out of hand

It never ceases to amaze me how quickly things can get out of hand on the Twitter.

Today started quite normally and things were going quite smoothly until I sent an innocent tweet to Sir Billy Coffey to give him some encouragment.

Before anyone knew what was happening, Billy was being compared to Clive Owen and Chuck Norris. How it came to that, I have no idea. However, of course, Jason (Mr @br8kthru himself) was around and so mere moments later this appeared:

Yes, it's Chuck Owen, Jasons tribute to Billy Coffey!

Enjoy.

I like how you play all innocent in this, Peter. You're just along for the ride- yeah right!

Aside from the uneven skin tones, I've seen worse. Billy, you should be honored. In fact, when your book is published perhaps you would consider putting this little beauty on there in lieu of your picture. Just a thought...

Billy should be honored. Those are potentially two of the manliest men alive today.

I mean, Delta Force? Shoot Em Up?

Seriously. I'm now jealous of Billy Coffey, as if I wasn't already for his amazing writing and masterful reflections.

You know, when I first stumbled across Billy Coffey's blog he was but a humble, quiet mountain man. Now look at him. Likening himself to a god. I blame all of you.

Jason,

I'm completely innocent, things just ran away with themselves, even if my fingers were doing some of the running!

You really need that nose Billy. It gives you character. Every serious writer should have a nose like that.

I finally Googled Clive Owen. He is an actor. He's handsome and all, but he's British (read: weenie). So good call on making Billy Chuck Norris-ish instead.

And you guys should really post warnings before the picture loads. First I had to deal with Steph and Katdish's squirrel with coffee thing, and now this. It's early folks. Have a heart.

And yeah. What katdish said. Whoever made Billy feel like a god, shame on you.
