No Monkey Butts, Just Puppets
I haven't lost my devotion to the salsa. You mambo the way you salsa, but on the offbeat. I've been told that sometimes I'm a little offbeat, so I figure I might actually being doing the mambo. Whatever. So long as I am not just an ordinary shopper in the grocery store, that's all that really matters.
Helen- I'll send you some coconuts and a grass skirt- and I'll pay you to wear them in the store while mambo-ing! I would wear them but my Dad's a pastor- and I'm much too modest.
This song is on a commercial right now...but which one??? Love it.
Anway, I can rhumba and cha cha. At least the basic steps. I don't know the steps to a mambo or a salsa, but I like to make them up and pretend I know. And I tried Zumba for the first time last week. Talk about hip action! Does that count? Should I try it when I go to the store today?
Thank you for an entertaining video. Totally made me smile. (And I was grumpy, so that's a good thing!)
And when we see each other, can we bring that song on a gigantic boom box into the store to dance to? It'll be like carrying our own soundtrack on our shoulders.
Also anyone that wants to buy my anything should shop exclusively at the store I linked to in my comment to Steph. I think you will understand when you visit.
Steph, someday I will have to do the post of how I imagine it would be if we all met up in the grocery store by chance. Nick, love the sound track t shirt. I could use one, too. The stores I shop at have stopped playing music. I know. Odd, isn't it? I wonder why?
Helen, they have surveillance cameras. The music starts up again once you leave. It takes a long time to make a green bean and mushroom soup pyramid, and they always have to put it back together after you leave.

Sherri - What if you had some fabulous heels to wear with that outfit, then would you do it?
I have a sneaking suspicion that Helen already has a coconut bra and grass skirt...
@Wendy. What of it?

Steph,
You are going to have to get over the 80s. No there are much better ways to have your own personal sound track these days.
Beth,
It's a Visa Commercial.

PS, I don't have the personal sound track shirt.

Obviously I need the Geek Shirt...
I see we have some readers in South America and Asia. Please excuse me while I try to steal them.
Please, please, please click here so I get some dots on my map. Thank you.
Okay. I'm with Steph. That made me smile. Even though I'm currently not speaking to her because she left a snarky comment on my blog.
