See the dog doesn't look embarrassed to me, embarrassing maybe but that is different. My dog is often embarrassing, like his special way of molesting, um I mean greeting, visitors. He doesn't seem to feel any shame about his actions though.

Thank you, Cesar Millan. I had a friend with a chow. Every summer, he would get her shaved and she would avoid eye contact with everyone for 2 months.

We don't so much have the "greeting" problem (except that if he's really happy to see you, he might pee on your leg a little). We had our dog fixed as soon as he was old enough, but let's just say, he's found his "special purpose" and he's not ashamed to show it. We don't call him "Buddy Love" for nothing.

It's so much funnier now that I know his name is Buddy Love! :D

Yes, dogs can be embarrassed. Mine slops his food because he has a big facial tumor, and he won't touch his food if we're watching. We have to leave the room before he'll eat. And if we try to touch his "owie" he looks away so we can't see him. Sometimes when we're staring at him he closes his eyes real tight because then we can't see him either.

Just a warning, when this dog goes, Ron Burgundy and I are going to need serious intervention.

And I think Buddy Love is beautiful.

Oh, do I have a thought for a blog post now....woo hah!
